MUMC COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Posted August 22, 2022
Covid 19—The scientific information and tools available today have evolved. We know more about this virus and transmissibility. Vaccinations, boosters and treatments are available to lessen the severity of illness to individuals and risk to society. Virus transmission can be minimized with testing, high quality masks, and ventilation.
Each of us has personal health knowledge and risk factors.
It is key to assess your personal situation and consider the following.
If you do not feel well you should refrain from gathering with others. Monitor yourself, consider a self test for COVID-19. Seek medical advice to determine the best plan of action for your personal situation.
Consistent with CDC guidelines, vaccines are the best public health measure to protect people from severe illness, hospitalization and death. The CDC recommends everyone over 5 years of age to get fully vaccinated. MUMC continues to encourage social distancing with seating spread throughout the Sanctuary, and will promote greater air circulation by opening windows (when possible) and turning on ceiling fans during worship. We look forward to seeing more and more of our church family on Sundays. Come and rejoice!

- What is the vulnerability of others in your household and those you are in contact with? Are they immunocompromised?
- Are household members vaccine eligible and up-to-date?
