Our Vision
We support, through volunteer time and donations, non-profit organizations that serve the hungry and homeless with a focus on life changing programs and well-being.
2023 Mission Projects
MUMC is a permanent Collection Site for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center

We collected over 400 items for the Midwest Mission drive in conjunction with the in-gathering in Green Bay, WI. MUMC is a donation center for disaster and poverty relief items that are sent where ever the need is the greatest, at home and around the world. Donations included 288 hand-sown school bags, 42 personal dignity kits, 17 home care kits, 8 sewing machines, and numerous individual items for the kits. Thank you to everyone who contributed, including the Brown Deer and Cedarburg UM churches, Jim and Sherry Gac, Dennis Devoy, Connie Pukaite, Kim Waters, and John Wirschem. Thank you to organizers, Karen and Joel Huffman.
With your donations we were able to purchase Pathfinders’ many items from their wish list! Items donated were given to individual Pathfinder clients and are also being enjoyed by the youth and young adults at Pathfinders’ facility.
The list of gifts MUMC donated included multiples of the following items: weighted blankets, clothing, warm hats, backpacks, phone chargers and cords, headphones, art supplies, toys for preschool children, personal hair/nail/bath care products, journals, dishes, glassware, silverware, Target gift cards, and VISA gift cards.
Pathfinders’ mission includes four core initiatives for Milwaukee youth and young adults: Housing & Shelter, Education, Family Engagement, and Youth Empowerment. Your kindness and care for these young individuals is greatly appreciated!

Clothing Drive for Repairers of the Breach

Repairers of the Breach is a ministry that provides the only daytime shelter for homeless adults in downtown Milwaukee. It is a place where homeless men and women can find the resources they need to get back on track. This organization was started by homeless people who knew the importance of community, faith, and encouragement to make the transition to a sustainable lifestyle. Repairers provides a warming room, food, showers and laundry, a learning center, a medical clinic, art therapy, spiritual renewal, and much more.
During January and early February, we collected and donated 15 bags of clothing and personal hygiene items to Repairers of the Breach.

We provide cookies and dessert bars for the take-away meals at the Harambee site 8 times per year. Our 2022 dates include Thanksgiving Day.
Package 3 cookies and 2 dessert bars in plastic sandwich bags and leave them on the bench just inside the front door of the church before 4:00 PM on our donation days
Mission Outreach team members will deliver the desserts to the Mealisite at All People's Church in the Harambee neighborhood.
