Hunger Task Force Food Drive

Mission Outreach and Vacation Bible School are joining together to collect food for Hunger Task Force in August.
Our goal is to break our record and collect 1000 lbs of food!
Look for the Hunger Task Force collection boxes in the church entrance and in the Narthex.
Here are the foods Hunger Task Force needs for their "Healthy Plate" nutrition program:

Here are the foods Hunger Task Force needs for their "Healthy Plate" nutrition program:
- Canned fruit in 100% juice (no sugar)
- Low sodium canned vegetables.
- Whole grain foods such as brown rice, oatmeal, cereal without sugar, multigrain pasta
- Condiments: salsa, oil, mustard, salt-free seasonings
- Snacks: Healthy foods for on-the-go: granola, nuts & seeds, breakfast bars, graham crackers
- Dairy: Boxed, low-fat milk, soy milk, oat milk
- Peanut Butter
Collections for Disaster Relief
We collected over 3,000 items for Disaster Relief for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC) The items were collected from the Brookfield, Central, Mequon, and Oak Creek United Methodist Churches through the efforts of a number of generous and talented individuals.The Midwest Mission Distribution Center brings “the hearts and hands of God’s people together to transform resources into humanitarian relief.”
We collect items year round. So drop off your donations to our church anytime between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday or on Sunday until noon.

Our Ministries

We provide cookies and dessert bars for the take-away meals at the Harambee site 8 times per year. Our dates are: June 30, July 28, September 22 and 29, and Thanksgiving Day.
Package 3 cookies and 2 dessert bars in plastic sandwich bags and leave them on the bench just inside the front door of the church before 4:00 PM on our donation days
Mission Outreach team members will deliver the desserts to the Mealisite at All People's Church in the Harambee neighborhood.
