Administrative council
The Mequon United Methodist Church's Administrative Council is a group of committed, senior MUMC leaders that acts as the administrative body to connect our local church and the general Church. The Council helps to plan and implement a program of nurture, outreach and witness for the church. It also has a strategic role in evaluating our mission and ministry on an annual basis. The Council consists of the pastor, the lay leader and various committee chairs, including Staff Parish Relations (SPRC), Christian Education, Outreach, Finance, Marketing and Trustees. We meet as a group monthly to discuss church business.
trustees
The Board of Trustees, composed of seven to nine church members, is the church body legally responsible for all church property.
We have our beautiful Mequon United Methodist Church because seven decades ago, a small group of people gathered to worship, gave their gifts, time and talent to create this place for us. Our faith-filled forefathers (and mothers!) built the church and parsonage, and accumulated assets to provide a place for our worship and a platform from which church members and committees work at "making God’s love real” to our community and the world through the ministries of our congregation.
The role of the Board of Trustees is to plan for the maintenance, improvement and updating of all church buildings, land, equipment and furnishings, determine what needs to be done, and secure professional or volunteer help to do the work to manage those assets and keep them in good working order.

welcoming statement
Mequon United Methodist Church affirms that all people are created in God's image and are of sacred worth. We affirm Jesus' example of love without reservation and we sacredly promise to deal compassionately and justly with one another. Therefore, this inclusive and nurturing community of faith openly invites and welcomes persons of every age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, physical or mental ability, ethnic origin, socio-economic status, marital status - any and all diversities - as full participants in the life and work of this reconciling community. As we journey towards reconciliation, we proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion and discrimination. We are a church community seeking to embrace you and celebrate with you in God's redeeming love for all.
All this from God, who reconciled us...through Christ, and who gives us the ministry of reconciliation.
