Repairers of the Breach Clothing and Supplies Collection in January

This year, we are collecting clean clothing and underwear for the homeless adults of Repairers of the Breach. This organization provides daytime shelter and support to Milwaukee's homeless adult population. Since they opened their doors nearly 10 years ago, Repairers has added a meal program, a health clinic, a job skills center, employment assistance, social services assistance, and an art therapy studio.
Please purchase new underwear for adults, large sizes are especially needed. If you are donating used clothing, such as coats and sweaters, please make sure they are professionally cleaned and packaged.
Here is a wish list:
Men’s and women’s thermal under clothes
men's and women's underwear
Socks
Gloves, hats and scarves
Blankets
Hand warmers
Deoderants and soaps
Hand sanitizers
Please leave your donations on the bench inside the church entrance door during the month of January 2021.

Our church is one of 10 Family Promise host churches in Ozaukee County. Until COVID-19 Safe at Home, homeless families stayed at the host churches. Now they are in a hotel or at the Family Promise Shelter until they find a home. In the meantime, we have a family we are caring for and we provide meals on Mondays and support this mission through monetary donation, nonperishable food and household supplies. Next up, we are providing dinner on December 29. |
