raising campaigns plus a monthly Income Statement are published
each month in the SPIRE newsletter.

Did you know ... that our Mequon
United Methodist Church is charged a $107.82 annual fee by the greater United
Methodist Church called "Apportionment Giving" for every confirmed member of our
church family?
Did you know ... that for 2007,
our Apportionment share to the greater United Methodist Church for our church
family is $43,884?
Did you know ... that our $43,884
share is paid from operating revenue in our church budget?
Did you know ... that Apportionment moneys are used by the
greater United Methodist Church to extend it’s ministry beyond the church
walls of individual churches?
Did you know ... that through our Apportionment Giving we
support such ministries as: new church starts in the Eastern Bloc countries, the
Ministerial Education Fund, and the Northcott Neighborhood House in Milwaukee,
just to name a few.
Did you know ... that if you make
a gift of $108 for each confirmed member in your family it will enable more
ministries to happen here in our church?
Did you know ... that we’re hoping you will make your
Easter gift to our church be equal to your Apportionment share?
