2007 - This
year’s major fundraising event was a dinner and auction held at
Ozaukee Country Club. Over 50 people attended, enjoying a fine
meal and good company. Over $10,000 was raised to support the
Church’s mission and outreach efforts. A special thanks goes
out to all those that participated.
Christmas Giving Tree
Every Christmas
season gifts are collected to distribute to need children in our
area.
CROP Walk
The 2006 Ozaukee
County Crop Walk was held on Saturday, October 7 starting at the
Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg. What is Crop
Walk? Funds are raised by walkers who are “sponsored” to walk.
All proceeds support the hunger ministries of Church World
Service with twenty five percent of the collected funds going to
the Port Washington Food Pantry. The local goal is $8,000 and
150 walkers
